Ron Jon_® was looking to do a line of bohemian key rings for women. The creative director gave me a list of concepts she wanted to see, and my job was to translate those ideas into designs that would work for enamel and metal.

Design Process:

• I used glitter enamel for the “Sunshine” design for extra sparkle, and put bright flowers around the edges for color and visual interest.
• The peace sign has a more high end look using hammered silver, a longer chain, and whimsical nature patterns in an analogous color theme.
• “Grow Love” is a playful design with with three dangling pieces. Instead of the standard Ron Jon name tag, I chose a basic sun shape to make it look like sun was shining down on the plant.
• “Love Your Mother” uses the light blue swirls in the pearl enamel to give the water areas movement. Instead of the standard metal attachments, we used a brown cord and beads to give it a more handmade and earthy feel.
