Studio Oh! Miffy Launch

Miffy was not a character that I grew up with, but I knew she was very popular in Japan and was growing in popularity in the States. We knew that a successful product launch would open a lot of doors for the company, so we dedicated ourselves to getting it right.

Miffy’s aesthetic is clean and minimal. This license also came with a set of stringent design rules, so it was a bit of a challenge to come up with something that would differentiate us from the rest of the product out there.

The final result was a colorful homage to this iconic character. Word of the collection even made its way into a short article by Licensing International. As we thought, it did open some retail doors for us. We were able to get the collection into Urban Outfitters, BoxLunch, and Kinokuniya bookstores!
